Due to a failure in the application SRO (Object Tracking System), personal data of the customers of the Correios has leaked, allowing third parties to access customers’ sensitive information, such as name, address, and CPF number.

The company reported having taken the necessary measures to correct the flaw and ensure data security, and has committed to notify the customers affected by the leak and offer assistance if needed.

The case reinforces the importance of implementing security measures to protect customers’ data and strictly complying with LGPD regulations.
