Lawyer graduated from the São Paulo University (USP), Law School, with specialization in Private Law and Civil Procedure Law; published articles, essays and studies in Brazil and outside Brazil. He was a member of the State committee of environment of São Paulo (CONSEMA) and of the Municipal committee of environment of sustainable development of São Paulo (CADES) for several sequential mandates. He belonged to the committee of the State gathering ground of Paraíba do Sul and of the State committee of Alto Tietê and Piracicaba. He was founder and first president of the Brazilian Association of Environmental Lawyers (ABAA). He was Municipal secretary of Verde and of the environment of São Paulo (2000). He was president of the committee of environment of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). He is member of the committee of energy and sustainable development and of the ICC Green Economy Task Force of the International Chamber of Commerce (CCI). He is member of the commission of environment of the Institute of Lawyers from São Paulo (IASP) and of the commission of environmental law of the Institute of Brazilian Lawyers - IAB.
